Core Grouting Services, working with sister company Large Diameter Drilling (LDD), have completed the installation of an LNG unloading jetty foundation and re-gasification jacket foundation for the Bahrain LNG Terminal project. Core’s client on the project was Six Construct, a major international contractor and part of BESIX Group. The work scope included the installation of drilled and grouted piles for the jetty and jacket installation. Core mixed and pumped over 4000m3 of grout on the project, all without LTI or loss of critical path project time.
John Paul O ‘Sullivan, Core’s project manager said “This was a long run project for Core, where we successfully completed the grout scope safely and on time for the client. Considering that all operations were completed with a single high-output continuous grouting spread this project stands as a great example of the robustness of our equipment and operations.”
Caetano Lucio Senior Engineer – Jetty Package, for SIX Construct said “LDD & Core Grouting’s involvement and effort since the tender stage has been appreciated, with LDD & Core Grouting’s positive involvement and cooperation throughout the project contributing to a successful completion of the works.”
